Keep what you took from me I’m not alone. Sinking as one now my heart turns to stone. Caught in a time-shift now for too damn long. Dispel the darkness to get what I want. There’s nothing you can tell me, to make me feel less crazy. What I have done here is for all to see. Don’t move me. Don’t touch me. I’m fine right where I am. Shackles enslave me but I’m not alone. Refuse to say it’s over, won’t take no for an answer. We’ve been in hiding now for far too long. Guilt owns me, chokes me, I watch the puppet strings burn. What once controlled my every flinch dismisses it’s grasp. Resistance brought me here. Childhood memories now haunt me as they fade away without warning. Love has become a thing of the past. I’m fading, giving in. I’m all you have and it kills me to know that every time you’re in my head, I’m not alone inside my mind you said to me “Another Time” but I’m still here. Push me away.

Softly she whispered, “I’ll never leave you here alone.” Upon her face I saw a truth left unatoned. Through her eyes I saw the girl I thought I used to know. A broken smile cracked the dawn of life I’d come to know. Into the light, I thought I’d never come to show, regrets and lies fill my heart with wretched times of woe. In the night, the only place we could run and hide, I’ll find my mind once the slate has been wiped dry. We tried to make it worth the heartache and pain, inside it makes me wanna run away, it’s all i’ve ever wanted, here I lay. So now I ask you, am I wanted, wanted, stay.
